Hi Everyone!  We're nearly through the first week of Hometown Magazine on NewsTalk 1160 WCCS!  It has gone well so far, with lots of great topics and interesting guests.  Thank you to all of my guests who have appeared on the program so far!

Today, I'll be talking with Jess Bowman, the director of Downtown Indiana.  Jess and I will be talking about Indiana's Streetscape project, the new Business Improvement District and her plans for the future of downtown Indiana.

Chuck Clark will be filling in for the second hour of today's program.  Chuck will be speaking with Jimmy Stewart Airport Manager Todd Heming, about the new runway that is in the works at the airport.  Officials have said the runway will have a big economic impact in Indiana County!

I'm putting the finishing touches on next week's schedule.  I'm planning a show focusing on Indiana County's drug problem and I already have some interesting guests confirmed on that topic!  Plus, we have a surprise guest coming up next Wednesday.  No details yet, but I'll just let you know, they're involved in an upcoming event that makes worldwide headlines every year!
