Every time someone finds out I'm from Marshall, IL., they ask me how I ended up in Indiana County in Western PA. Let's just say I found myself here and I liked it, so I stayed.

I graduated in 2008 from DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind., where I received my BA in Communications. This is my first job, and currently I'm the Afternoon News Anchor on WDAD at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. I give afternoon news updates on WCCS as well as weather forecasts on WCCS, WDAD, WLCY, and WQMU, and I fill in when needed in the mornings. I also act as a reporter covering meetings and other news events, and I do a lot of work with commercial production.

In my spare time, I like to watch movies, shop, crochet, and hang out friends. I also try to make time to go to Cleveland or Pittsburgh to visit friends, or make the 500-mile trip home to my family. Oh yeah - my guilty pleasure is watching Ghost Hunters!!
