AGING SERVICES EXERCISE PROGRAM

Aging Services will have an exercise program for adults 50 and over starting March 25. Monday sessions will be at the Two Lick Valley Social Center from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. and the Indiana Social Center from 11 a.m. to noon. Wednesday sessions will be at the Indiana Social Center from 11 a.m. to noon and at the Two Lick Social Center from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

BOYS/GIRLS BASKETBALL CAMP AND SHOOTING CLINIC

BOY’S and GIRL’S SUMMER BASKETBALL CAMP

There will be a “Summer Basketball Camp” on June 10-14 at the Homer-Center H.S. Gym for boys and girls entering 3-6 grade from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and for boys and girls entering grades 7-12 grade from 12:30-4:00 p.m. The camp will focus on the fundamental skills needed to become a successful basketball player. The cost of the camp is $65.00 (before May 31st) and $75.00 (after May 31st). If you have any questions, call Bob Rado at

Boys and Girls Basketball Shooting Clinic*

A “Shooting Clinic” will be held at the Homer-Center Gym the week of June 17-21 for girls and boys at a cost of $45.00 (before May 31st) and $55.00 (after May 31st) The shooting clinic will run from 8:00-10:00 a.m. for individuals entering grades 3-7 and from 10:30-12:30 for individuals entering grades 8-12 grade.

FISH FOR FUN

Children ages 12 and under are invited to grab their reels and join CONSOL Energy and the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy for a free fishing tournament in Indiana County’s Blue Spruce Park. The Fish For Fun event on Saturday, May 25^th, will begin with the stocking of the lake at 9 a-m and a competition at 10 a-m. For more details, visit CONSOLEnergy.com.

CHARITY MOTORCYCLE RUN

On June 8 there will be a Charity Motorcycle Run to raise money for Camp Orenda. Motorcycles and all Street Legal vehicles are to meet at the Clymer American Legion to join the 85 mile group ride to benefit the Lions Club Sponsored Camp Orenda. Sign up beginning at 11am, ride leaves promptly at 1pm. Camp Orenda is a residential summer health camp for people with disabilities. The camp offers a fun-filled week that challenges it's campers physically, emotionally and socially.
