The Indiana County Commissioners held a special meeting yesterday to announce the budget proposal for next year.  The General Fund would begin wit ha balance of $865,753 dollars with the 2007 budget set at $22,334,479 and expenditures for next year at $21,217,822 dollars.  It does include a 1.8 mil tax increase but according to commissioner Dave Frick, that only amounts to $1.79 per property owner.

The budget, including Liquid Fuels, will be advertised for twenty days before being adopted in December.
