On-air: Weekdays 10 AM-Noon
‘The Dennis Miller Show’ offers the five-time Emmy award winner’s unique take on the day’s topics with comedy and satire. The daily show, which launched in March 2007, also features Dennis taking listener calls, as well as interviewing high-profile special guests.
Miller won his five Emmy’s for his critically acclaimed half-hour, live talk show "Dennis Miller Live" which had a nine year run on HBO. He also wrote and starred in the Emmy-nominated cable comedy special "Raw Feed", his sixth such special. He was the host and executive producer of CNBC's "Dennis Miller", a topical interview talk show featuring reasoned discourse, opinion and humor. Additionally, Miller has appeared on many politically oriented television talk shows. He has also been cast in films, usually in dramatic roles, most notably in 1994's "Disclosure," 1995's "The Net," and 1996's "Murder at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue."
"This seems like a great fit for me since I grew up in Pittsburgh where broadcast radio was born," said Miller. "I always knew I would try radio and right now seems like the perfect time. In a world where the stakes are high, the medium is a nice blend of the comfortable and the provocative. I look forward to working with Westwood One and soon being able to finally say aloud the words, 'I'm up against a hard break.'"
Dennis Miller is on News-Talk 1160 WCCS each weekday morning from 10-Noon.
