 State Representative Sam Smith will once again serve as Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.  The more than 100 Republican House Caucus elected Smith speaker yesterday in Harrisburg.  It the second consecutive session that Republicans will control the state House.  The 2013-2014 House session will start on January 1, 2013 with a 111-92 majority for Republicans. 


The Republican leadership team includes Smith as House Speaker.  State Rep. Mike Turzai was re-elected as House Majority Leader.  State Rep. Dave Reed will continue in his position as chairman of the House Policy Committee.
