LIGHT-UP NIGHT SET FOR TONIGHT IN INDIANA

11/16/2012

Organizers are expecting a big crowd for tonight’s “It’s a Wonderful Life” parade and Light-Up Night.  The festivities start today at 4 p.m. with a free open house at the Jimmy Stewart Museum and a continuous showing of “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

On North 7th Street there will be plenty of activities including marshmallow roasting, crafts, music and hayrides.  The holiday parade will kick off at 7 p.m., starting at 5th Street and ending at 8th Street.

After the parade, Kelly Stewart Harcourt, who is the daughter of Jimmy Stewart, will assist in a tree lighting ceremony at the Indiana County Courthouse.
