CLYMER PASSES BUDGET WITHOUT A TAX INCREASE

12/12/2012

The Clymer Borough Council approved the borough’s 2013 budget at a meeting Tuesday night.  The budget does not include a tax increase.  Borough Manager Rob Barto says the council has worked hard to maintain solid financial footing over the past several years.

In other business, the council voted to hire a part-time police officer.  The borough now has one full-time and one part-time officer.

Also on Tuesday, the council formally voted to name the Union Depot, Clymer Memorial Park after its founder, Councilman Joe Krolick.
