Two robbers were thwarted in an attempted robbery at an Indiana Restaurant.
Indiana-Based State Police were called out to the King Buffet on Oakland Avenue to investigate a theft. They say Jeremia Fromme of Ernest and Adam Wilson of Indiana entered the restaurant, and Fromme placed a hand-written note on the counter demanding money. When the 17-year-old cashier hesitated, fromme lifted the front pocket of his shirt and it looked like he had a gun. After getting money from the register, Wilson and Fromme started to exit the restaurant and get into their running vehicle. That’s when several patrons and the restaurant owners tackled the two and held them until police arrived. The two would later confess to the crime at the State Police Barracks.
Fromme faces charges of Roberry, theft, criminal conspiracy and simple assault, while Wilson faces charges of conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit theft. The two are awaiting their arraignment in Indiana County Jail.
