The chairman of the company that owns the Indiana Mall has passed away.

Samuel Zamias of Johnstown passed away Sunday in Pittsburgh.  He was the chairman of Zamias Services, Inc, the company that owns and manages the Indiana Mall.  He was involved in commercial development since 1976 when George Zamias ran the family business.  The projects he worked on helped to bring over 50,000 to the state.  As co-founder of Zamias Services, Inc., he was responsible for day-to-day operations at malls across America, including the Indiana Mall and the Dubois Mall, and served as the companies CEO from 2001 to 2012.

Viewings and Funeral services will be held in Johnstown.  Zamias passed away at the age of 57.
