Share ARMED ROBBER HITS ROSSITER CONVENIENCE STORE July 21, 2010 7/21/2010 An armed robber demanded money from a clerk at a Canoe Township convenience store last night. According to state police, a white man entered Slick’s Convenience Store in the Village of Rossiter at 7:30 p.m., wearing a black hoodie and a white bandana that covered his face. He was wielding a knife and demanded cash from the clerk. The suspect is believed to be between 25 and 25 years old, approximately 5-feet-9-inches-tall and police believe he weighs around 150 pounds. He fled the store in a light gold-colored newer model mini-van on Central Street headed towards the Jefferson County line. There’s no word on how much money the robber may have gotten away with.
