Indiana Borough Police are charging a West Middlesex woman with aggravated assault on a police officer. Police say this morning at 12:25 they were at a house on Church Street for an investigation. While there, police say that Marla Pivarnik, age 21, kicked a police officer. They are also charging her with simple assault and resisting arrest. She was lodged in the Indiana County Jail to be arraigned by Judge Steffee.

A pistol was taken from a residence on Route 954 Highway North in Washington Township on Thursday. State police say that at about 3 p.m. someone forced their way into the residence and took a Smith & Wesson 9mm valued at $400. The actor then fled the scene.
