Yesterday’s status conference for Clayton Mibroda was postponed until this morning before Westmoreland County Judge John Blahovec. Meanwhile, Mibroda’s trial for a charge of criminal homicide in the death of his 20-day-old daughter has been scheduled to begin on January 7th.
Mibroda, who formerly lived in Indiana, is accused of causing the death of tiny Natalee Mibroda at theWest Bolivar home he shared with his girlfriend, Kayla Lichtenfels, last December. Natalee was pronounced dead at the Indiana Regional Medical Center and her father’s multiple explanations for her injuries did not match up with the results of the autopsy.
Public defender Wayne McGrew is representing Mibroda. He and Westmoreland County Assistant District Attorney Barbara Jollie are scheduled to meet with Judge Blahovec at 9 o’clock this morning.
