Emergency crews were once again busy yesterday.

Crews were called out to a vehicle fire around 3:30 Friday afternoon in Center Township.  Devin Butler of Coral was driving southbound on Route 119 when the undercarriage of his car began to smoke and eventually caught fire.  Butler was able to pull off the highway and into the parking lot of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church.  Coral-Graceton and Homer City fire departments were called out to extinguish the fire.

Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments were called out to extinguish a brush fire in Burrell Township.  The fire was along Old William Penn Highway around 6:13 in the evening.

Plumville and Perry Township fire departments were called out around 8:30 last night to the intersection of Routes 954 and 210 for a vehicle accident.  No details have been provided on the crash itself, but we do know that a landing zone was set up on Route 210 by Plumville Fire Department shortly after crews arrived on the scene.
