The White Township Supervisors approved a final critical step at last night’s meeting (Wednesday) for the Delaney Hyundai-Subaru property on Lenz Road.

The developers of the future hotel and car dealership on the 11 acre plot needed permission to encroach upon the existing slope easement. The issue came up for vote Wednesday night after the final site plan was approved at the planning commission meeting on Tuesday.

Supervisor Eugene Gemmel to put forth a motion to relinquish all control of the slope easement to all property owners affected.

Assistant Township Manager Chris Anderson said an engineer will check the slope easement once more to ensure that it is in a suitable condition to pass off to property owners. If it is, deeds will be drawn up and a motion will be passed at a future supervisors meeting.

Anderson said this is one of the final steps for Delaney Honda. There are still some storm water management issues that will come before the Supervisors. Additionally there are some conditions that will be approved by the planning commissions at a future date.
