Programs to be held in Indiana County


Wednesday is Patriots’ Day, to commemorate the events surrounding the attacks on American on September 11, 2001, and there are a number of public programs planned in Indiana County. 


IUP will offer its traditional service at 8:30 AM next to the World Trade Center monument in the Oak Grove.  The program includes a remembrance of the three IUP alumni lost at the World Trade Center: William Moskal, Donald Jones, and William Sugra.


Other events on Wednesday will include a commemoration at the Indiana VFW Post 1989 on Indian Springs Road from 4 to 8 PM With Anthony Frazier, Annie Morgan and others providing entertainment.


At the Indiana Free Library, from 7 to 9 PM there will be a free program including the showing of the DVD America: Rescuing a Nation At Risk.  Also at that program, The Gap Ministry will present How You Can Help Bring Restoration Through Knowledge, Prayer, and Action.
