Holdup yesterday morning at S&T Bank

Investigators are searching for a bank robber who held up the Armagh branch of S&T Bank yesterday morning.

State police say a man armed with a 3-inch knife walked into the bank at 10:37 AM and demanded money.  He fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash and got into an unknown vehicle near the storage sheds just west of the bank.

The suspect is a man, approximately 5-feet 6-inches tall, and according to police he has a “large build with a belly and a deep, loud voice.”  He was wearing a blue Adidas hooded sweatshirt with a front zipper and white vertical stripes under the sleeves, gray sweatpants, and blue Skechers shoes.  He had a unknown type mask and wore gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 357-1960.
