The case against a former executive with the Indiana County Humane Society has closed with a guilty plea from Lisa Weir of Homer City.
Indiana County District Attorney Pat Dougherty announced that she plead guilty to misdemeanor access device fraud before Judge Thomas Bianco. She was sentenced to one year probation and a $500 fine. Weir was arrested in February after an investigation determined she forged a vetenarian’s name on a spay-neuter certificate while she was the Executive Director to the Kennel Manager at the Humane Society.
