Police are on the lookout for a man who stole from a campsite and is now travelling through northern Indiana County on foot.
State Police out of Punxsutawney are saying that James Charles Hanson of New York had broken into the camp of Paul Fantaski of Smicksburg, and was staying there for a while, and police say he took around $220 upon his departure. State Police received information that Hanson crashed his vehicle somewhere in Indiana County. Police believe that he is continuing to break into campsites and homes in the Indiana county area.
He is described as a white man, six-foot-four inches tall, 195 pounds, brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, jeans, and white shoes. If you have any information on his wherabouts, you are asked to call Punxsutawney-based state police at 814-938-0510.
