OPERA SINGER EDWARD PARKS COME HOME
Benefit concert at Indiana High Saturday

8/22/2014

It’s not often you get a chance to hear an acclaimed opera singer performing here in Indiana, and when it’s a native son, it’s an opportunity not to be missed.

Edward Parks, the award-winning singer the New York Times says “brings precision, sensitivity, and nuance in abundance” to his performances, will be on stage at 7:30 tomorrow night at the Indiana Senior High School in a benefit for the Indiana County Competition for Young Musicians, presented by the Indiana Arts Council.

Tickets for the event are available at www.IndianaArtsCouncil.org, at The Artists Hand Gallery, Michael B’s Shoes, and at Smicksburg Pottery.  There are general admission tickets for students and adults, and a VIP ticket available for reserved seating and a post-concert reception at The Coney.
