Work, Clubs & Organizations:  Leonard graduated from Saltsburg High School.
He served in the US Navy during World War II on the USS General John Pope in
the North Atlantic and Pacific Theatre.  Following the war, Leonard served
in the Merchant Marines in the Great Lakes Region.  Prior to a construction
accident at 33 years of age, Leonard helped build the Conemaugh Dam and
worked at the former Vanadium Steel in Latrobe.  His interests included
fishing, hunting and gardening.

Visitation:
James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., Blairsville, PA on Thursday, February
21, 2013 from 2:00 PM   to  4:00 PM  and  6:00 PM  to  8:00 PM
VFW Post #5821 & the American Legion Post #0407 will conduct military
services Thursday evening at 7:30 PM in the Funeral Home.


Funeral Mass:
SS Simon & Jude Church on  Friday, February 22, 2013 at 10:00 AM.  Fr.
Chester J. Raimer  will officiate.  Everyone is to go directly to Church for
the mass.

Memorials:
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your
choice.

Interment:  Blairsville Cemetery
    Blairsville, Pennsylvania
