Clarence E. Baldish, 87, of Northern Cambria, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 at his home.
A son of the late Michael and Jessie Jenkins Baldish, he was born December 20, 1925, in Vintondale.
Mr. Baldish served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He was a tipple worker for Bethlehem Steel. He was an avid hunter, loved to work on cars and electronics and enjoyed country music and the Grand Ole Opry. Mr. Baldish was a member of the Barnesboro Legion.
He is survived by five children: Ralph Baldish and wife Judy Mae, of Northern Cambria; Richard Baldish and wife Di, of Millville; Charlene Baldish Olliver and husband Ken, of Clymer; Shelly Ann Ludwig, of Ebensburg; and Laura Lee Barto and husband Fred, of Northern Cambria; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Twila Marie Ober Baldish.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc., Indiana, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor James McCulley officiating. Interment will be in Diamondville Cemetery.
