John E. Stancombe, 53, of Aultman, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at his residence.
A son of Ted E. and Joan Pease Stancombe, he was born Nov. 14, 1959, in Indiana.
Mr. Stancombe was self-employed as a painter. John attended the Ernest Bible Church and was a member of the Red Barn Sportsmen’s Club. He had a love for dogs and enjoyed hunting and target shooting with his pistol.
He is survived by his parents, Ted and Joan Stancombe, of Indiana; a sister, Connie Reddinger and husband Ken, of Indiana; a brother, Scott Stancombe and wife Sonya, of Penn Run; a niece, Tyla, who held a special place in his heart; nieces and nephews: Travis Reddinger and wife Tiffany, Todd Reddinger and wife Heather, Troy Reddinger, and Tarina Reddinger; a great nephew, Tristan Reddinger; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter and Fannie Stancombe, and his maternal grandparents, Russell and May Pease.
Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc., Indiana, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor John P. Sykes officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
