LORETTA E. RAY, AGE 85, OF INDIANA, PASSED AWAY THURSDAY, JAN. 30, AT BEACON RIDGE IN INDIANA. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Robinson-Lytle Funeral Home in Indiana, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. William D. Milligan officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Loretta E. Ray, 85, of Indiana, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at Beacon Ridge, Indiana.
A daughter of the late Fero F. and Lillian E. Lydic Lydick, she was born Nov. 28, 1928, in Indiana.
Mrs. Ray was a graduate of Indiana High School. She was a homemaker and also helped at the family business, Uncle Bill’s Amusements. Mrs. Ray was a member of Graystone Presbyterian Church and enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Mark G. Ray and wife Barbara, of Indiana; three sisters: Shirley A. Connell, of Byesville, Ohio; Helen M. Bartek, of Homer City; and Ruth I. Lydick, of Indiana; three grandchildren: Catelyn, Alexander and Matthew; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Ray; three brothers: F. Edward Lydick, Emery E. Lydick, Harry N. Lydick; and a sister, Elenora J. Lydick.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc., Indiana, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. William D. Milligan officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
