Ben Franklin Students Headed to D.C.
Two 6th Grade Students at Ben Franklin Elementary School in Indiana will be participating in the prestigious People to People World Leadership Forum next week, April 20th through the 25th in Washington, D.C.

Abdur Jabir and Sophie Nowell were nominated by Ben Franklin Teacher Deb Horvath and will join 5th to 8th grade students from around the world to study leadership and explore some of the United States most prominent monuments and institutions.
Forum delegates will also participate in small-group discussions and exercises to experience first-hand how successful leaders develop strategies, make decisions, build consensus and foster change.

Abdur Jabir is the son of Doctors Rizwan and Ameena Jabir, and Sophie is the daughter of Richard and Susan Nowell.
The program is coordinated by People to People Leadership Programs to fulfill the vision President Dwight D. Eisenhower had for fostering world citizenship when he founded People to People during his presidency in 1956. For additional information, please visit www.peopletopeople.com.
