The reopening Elderton High School has completed the hiring of coaches for the fall sports season and will start interviewing candidates for the winter sports this week.
Dan Spencer will be the athletic director and returns as girls’ volleyball coach after spending last season at West Shamokin. Christie Orlosky also returns from West Shamokin to coach girls’ tennis.
Another returnee is Frank Nemeth, who will take over as boys’ soccer coach. He coached the team from 1996 to 2003.
Bonnie Meyer and Jill Tedesco will split the duties of coaching the cross country team.
Practices for fall sports begin on August 16th
