The Pittsburgh Panthers let a 4 point halftime lead slip away and fell the 18th ranked Louisville Cardinals 45 to 35. The Panthers held a 21-17 lead heading into the 3rd quarter, but the Cardinals took control of the game and outscored the Panthers 21 to 0 in the 3rd to take a 38-21 lead heading into the 4th. The Panthers did manage to 4th quarter touchdowns, but it was too little too late. The loss drops Pitt to 2 and 4 on the year and 0-3 in Big East play. Pitt returns to action next weekend on the road when they travel to Buffalo to face the Bulls.
