DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIPS UNDERWAY ACROSS WESTERN PA

It was a busy day for high school football across Western Pennsylvania yesterday, the district 6 championships got underway from Mansion Park in Altoona yesterday Richland defeated 27-10 and later on today Bellwood-Antis will take on Bishop McCort kick off set for 7 pm in that game. Down in Pittsburgh the WPIAL held their football championships, four games played on the gridiron yesterday and here are the results: in the single A game Clairton defeated STO Rox 58-21, the Bears have now 60 games in a row, in Double A Aliquippa cruised past Washington 34-7, Triple A Game West Allegheny rolls past West Mifflin 34-8, and in the Quad A North Allegheny edges Woodland Hills 21-14. Congratulations to all the winners.
