PENS OPEN SEASON WITH WIN OVER FLYERS

It was the perfect start of the season for Penguin fans. The Pens came out of the lockout strong, beating back the Flyers for a 3-1 victory in the City of Brotherly Love. The Pens nabbed two goals two minutes and forty seconds apart in the first. Scorers were Tyler Kennedy on a power play and James Neal. Chris Kunitz added another with 12 seconds left in the third. Scoring for the Flyers in the second period was Claude Giroux.

 

The Pens are back in action against the New York Rangers this evening with a 7 p.m. start time at Madison Square Garden. Coverage will begin at 6 o'clock on U 92.5 FM.
