The Steelers remain winless in preseason play following a 24-13 loss to the Redskins in Washington
Ben Roethlisberger went 5-for-6 for 66 yards, but had an interception returned for a touchdown on the Steelers' second drive.  Landry Jones was 9-of-22 for 111 yards and a TD for Pittsburgh, which will host the Chiefs on Saturday.
The Denver Broncos’ linebacker Von Miller is facing a likely six-game suspension for violating the NFL's drug policy.  Miller's representatives have been negotiating with the league to try and get the suspension reduced to four games.
New England tight end Rob Gronkowski does not appear likely to be ready to play in week one of the NFL season as he recovers from off-season forearm and back surgery.  The Patriots will have to decide whether they want to carry him on the 53-man roster until he is ready, or place him on the Physically Unable to Perform list, which would sideline him for at least the first six games.  That’s the same decision the Steelers must make on injured tight end Heath Miller.
