Josh Widdowson

Josh Widdowson returns to his hometown as a news reporter.

Josh was born and raised in Indiana, PA and graduated Indiana High School in 2000, but he already had radio experience under his belt, as he was an in-studio producer, board-op and beat reporter for WDAD and WQMU.

For two years while he attended college at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Josh would come home Fridays during football season and be the sideline reporter for the Indiana High Little Indians broadcasts on WDAD and WQMU. After he graduated college in 2005, he became a weekend news anchor for Renda Broadcasting's Affiliates in Punxsutawney, and after a year, would be promoted to News Director.

Josh was also the host of the WPXZ Morning Show, and also was the voice of the Punxsy Chucks Baseball and Softball teams, and the on-air voice for Punxsutawney Little League All-Star Baseball and Softball teams, and also covered festivities on Gobbler's Knob for Groundhog Day.

After six years, Josh came back to Indiana, and served as a reporter and a weekend news anchor. Josh also returned to Punxsutawney as the host of the WPXZ Morning Show before becoming the main news reporter for Your Hometown Radio Stations.

Away from the mic, Josh loves cooking, watching old movies, listening to old-time radio programs, and Pittsburgh and IUP Sports.
